Fans were shaken by that Week 1 loss.

How confident are you in the direction of the team?

Last week: 96 percent confidence

This is an astonishing drop-off in one week. It was also an astonishing week.

With the Falcons losing the game in much the same fashion as they did last time around against the Eagles, plus losing Keanu Neal and Deion Jones for a long time. Add in some dark whispers about the status of Devonta Freeman and maybe even Andy Levitre.

Still, it shouldn’t have fallen quite that dramatically, given the possibility that this one week will prove to be more of a setback than a fatal trend. I recognize the injuries complicate that, though.

Will the Falcons win or lose in Week 2?

Odds: Falcons are 6-point favorites

The Falcoholic FanPulse: Falcons by 4

Unsurprisingly, the Falcons are favored by Falcons fans, and the Panthers are favored by Panthers fans. This is one of those weeks that could legitimately go either way, given how many injuries these teams are dealing with, so the split’s legit too. It’s not surprising that the Falcons are favored in real life given that they’re at home and have an NFL offensive line.

Other than QB, what is most valuable to an NFL offense?

I don’t know if I agree with this, but NFL fans love left tackles.
