The Atlanta Falcons will play their fourth and final preseason game in seventy-two hours. The final score won’t matter much, but if you’re on the roster fringe and looking to make this team, now isn’t the time to take your foot off the gas.
Head coach Dan Quinn has taken a conservative approach with his starters during the preseason. And that won’t change this week.
Looks like no starters will play Thursday for the Falcons vs. Dolphins, as expected. Dan Quinn already ruled out kicker Matt Bryant and punter Matt Bosher. It's about evaluating the bubble players and potential practice-squad members.

This is a smart move by Quinn. The Falcons have been able to stay healthy since training camp kicked off in late July. There’s simply no need to change up their approach now. If you’re hoping to see the Falcons dominate the Dolphins on Thursday night as some sort of indicator, then you’d better not hold your breath.
