For all you gamers out there (or just people who are bad at video games but can excel on Madden set on easy, coughs me coughs), the good folks at Madden 19 have released the new set of player ratings.

How did our beloved Atlanta Falcons do this go-around? The mother nest has the full rundown.

Well, QB Matt Ryan clocked in at 89, while star WR Julio Jones had the highest rating for the team at 98. Other “90s” scores went to CB Desmond Trufant (93), RB Devonta Freeman (91), C Alex Mack (90) and LB Deion Jones (90).

Close behind were S Keanu Neal (89), RB Tevin Coleman (86), DT Grady Jarrett (86), CB Robert Alford (86), K Matt Bryant (85), FS Ricardo Allen (84) and RT Ryan Schraeder (83).

The team’s starting DEs Vic Beasley, Takk McKinley and Brooks Reed all logged 82s, as did WR Mohamed Sanu.

Punter Matt Bosher had an 81, as did LB De’Vondre Campbell and LT Jake Matthews. TE Austin Hooper rounded out the 80s with an 80, and rookie WR Calvin Ridley will start out with a score of 77, as is customary for newer players to enter the game with a score that is probably not quite indicative of how they’ll actually do. Madden will no doubt update that score if Ridley comes on in a big way.

The newest installment of Madden will be out August 10, featuring Hall of Fame WR (and Julio contract holdout player) Terrell Owens on the cover, as if football won’t already be on your mind. Remember to get some sunlight at some point....ah, who am I kidding, camp out in your entertainment cave and game on until you can’t!

What do you think of those scores? Who’s too low? Chime in below.
