Atlanta Falcons talk: Who will lead the team in interceptions this season?

If recent patterns hold, it’ll be Deion Jones again.

We ask this every year, but at this point, it’s obvious who the favorite should be to lead the team in interceptions in 2018. It’s Deion Jones, who has snagged three in each of the last two seasons, and has thus led the team each of the last two years. Debo’s capable of getting even more interceptions, especially if Drew Brees declines at all this year.

He’s my pick again this year, then, though Desmond Trufant put up a spirited fight and Robert Alford is a solid bet every single season. I’m certainly hopeful that the big difference this year will be in the number of interceptions the team’s leader winds up with, as the Falcons have been somewhat limited in their ability to force those kinds of turnovers over the last couple of years, and that’s one of the few caps remaining on one of the most talented young defenses in the NFL.

Who do you have?
