DW and Jeanna are joined by Eric Robinson to talk about the Falcons’ picks on day 3 of the 2018 NFL Draft. The three picks made round out a very interesting — if not promising — draft class. While very few of the picks were expected, the class as a whole looks like a very strong one for a team with very few roster holes.
Included in this podcast:
- Thoughts on new RB Ito Smith, how he compares to Devonta Freeman and his potential in the NFL
- The surprising pick of WR Russell Gage and how his special teams prowess could make him a key cog of turning that unit around in 2018
- The highly athletic (and intelligent presumably) LB out of Yale, Foyesade Oluokun, and how he could fit in at safety or linebacker
- How the entire class could be a big factor in improving the play of special teams this year
