Final Falcoholic poll results for all of the Atlanta Falcons draft picks

Atlanta Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff must be pleased with this year’s draft class. He was admittedly more excited about REI’s recent Spring neoprene bike shorts sale, but we all have our guilty pleasures, am I right? Moving on. You all have been pretty positive about this draft overall. We’ve polled you, our loyal readers, about the draft picks. Let’s check out the poll results.

Calvin Ridley

59 percent of you gave this pick an A. Another 31 percent gave it a B. 99 of you, comprising approximately 1 percent of the total vote, gave Ridley an F. I’m going to just assume all the DTs the Falcons didn’t draft in the first round got together and rigged the vote, because that’s the only logical explanation.

Isaiah Oliver/Deadrin Senat/Ito Smith

We didn’t poll your reactions to the Falcons’ second round pick. Actually Matt Chambers forgot to put a poll at the end of his post breaking Oliver’s selection. Mock him mercilessly. Personally I think he’s been dipping into Dave’s MD 20/20 stash. (In their defense, fortified wine is intriguing on its face.) I’m going to assume you would’ve all given the pick an A. This set off a chain reaction and we didn’t poll your reactions to the Senat or Smith picks either. Again, I’ll just assume those picks would’ve garned an A from the fan base as well.

Russell Gage

27 percent of you gave this pick a B, while 26 percent of you gave this pick a C. For a guy whose main purpose will be to contribute on special teams and potentially compete for the returner gig, I’m not sure where this pick goes wrong. It’s the sixth round of the NFL draft, y’all. Relaaaax.

Foyesade Oluokun

I’m never going to remember how to spell or pronounce this guy’s name. That said, the fan base is pretty fond of this pick. 22 percent of you gave this pick an A. 35 percent of you gave this pick a B. The consensus opinion seems to be that the Falcons got excellent value late in the sixth round with this selection.
