The Falcoholic continues its new podcast, Story Birds, with host Cory Woodroof joined by NFL draft analyst Charles McDonald.

McDonald is a former collegiate athlete who took his football experience and applied it to becoming one of the bright young minds in player analysis. He writes for sites like ESPN, Football Outsiders and, of course, The Falcoholic, and hosts the Setting the Edge podcast.

The 2018 NFL Draft is right around the corner, so what better time to get a look behind the curtain to see how a talent evaluator gets to work, particularly one that knows the Falcons as well as Charles McDonald does.

On this episode, McDonald gets into his past, his process, how he learned how to evaluate talent and shares his take on the Falcons’ draft and where that pesky first-round pick might go.
