Falcons’ Brother of the Week vs. Panthers

For the Brotherhood!

This past weekend, our Atlanta Falcons handled business against the Carolina Panthers, 24-10. Last week’s Brother of the Week DE Bruce Irvin put in another solid performance, having 2 tackles and a QB hit. This week’s Brother of the Week is none other than DT Jack Crawford. Jack’s a good friend of mine, and I was personally thrilled to see him have a great performance on Sunday. Jack finished the day with 3 tackles, ½ sack, and a career-first interception which prevented a possible Panthers’ touchdown.

With the defensive line being a question entering the season, Jack has quickly become a solid pairing with Grady Jarrett in the trenches. The Falcons signed Crawford in 2017, where he unfortunately landed on injured reserve with a bicep injury. He previously played for the Oakland Raiders and Dallas Cowboys, but his 2018 season with the Atlanta Falcons is by far his best. This season, Jack has a career-high in sacks, tackles, and now a career-first interception. When you combine his ability to fight and spin past offensive lines, as well as his high motor, the best is yet to come for Jack Crawford.

There’s only one more game, so that means only one more ‘Brother of the Week’ in 2018. Let me know your thoughts on some players who deserve recognition for their role in the Brotherhood.
