Falcons vs Panthers: Vote for the offensive player of the game

Plenty of good options abound.

The Falcons offense had their second strong game in two consecutive weeks and have finally given me some life for these articles. It wasn’t a huge performance, but it was solid and featured contributions from several players. There are some good candidates this week, so make your selection below.

Mohamed Sanu

With 5 catches for 81 yards and a touchdown and another 29 yards on the ground, Sanu was a key cog for the offense on Sunday. He converted multiple third downs during the game and showed why he can be so dangerous with the ball in his hands.

Calvin Ridley

Fans will likely talk about the drops, but Ridley also showed why he’s got so much potential. On the first play of the second half, Ryan found him deep for a 75 yard touchdown run. Once he’s in open space, he’s nearly impossible to catch. Fix those hands issues and he’ll be a great receiver for years.

Matt Ryan

The franchise QB put up solid numbers and moved up in the record books as well. He finished 15/26 for 239 yards and 3TDs with 0 interceptions. He was distributing the ball well and was on point for most of the game.

Offensive Line

For a unit that has been rightfully criticized this year, they had a solid game. They gave Ryan plenty of time in the pocket for most of the game and more importantly, they created huge holes for both Tevin Coleman and Brian Hill.
