Falcoholinks: All the Falcons news you need for Tuesday, Nov. 6

It’s an Election Day link special!

NFL: NFC Championship-Green Bay Packers at Atlanta Falcons Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports

Happy Election Day, Falcoholics!

It’s Election Day around the fair United States, so remember to go out, speak your mind and cast your ballot today (and remember to get your free little sticker)!

Rather than worry about the results, why don’t you take a seat and read up on some links?

Words with Birds

Our own Allen Strk was in the nation’s capitol Sunday to take in the team’s big win over Washington, and he got a chance to talk with a handful of Atlanta Falcons players to get an idea of how the big afternoon came to be.

The touchdown man himself, Julio Jones, joins guys like Mohamed Sanu, Sharrod Neasman and Ryan Schraeder to give thoughts on the victory.

“This is a great team win,” Jones said in the story. “These are the ones you love the most. As for our record, I never really look at that. Control what you can control. It’s about me going out there and being at my best. I need to be the best teammate I can be for us to be successful every week.”

Read more insight straight from the locker room in the link.

Winning Ways

Our typical team of talented typing continues to turn out the weekly game day takes, with Adnan delivering his fantasy studs and duds and NFC South report, head honcho Dave Choate with a weekly recap and NFC playoff picture, Kendall’s three up and three down and DW’s offensive and defensive players of the game.

Read up while you’re in the voting, folks!

Welcome Back, Debo?

Falcons linebacker Deion Jones has been truly missed in Falconland, but his return might come sooner than expected.

Right now, he could come back by Nov. 18 in time for that Cowboys game.

It would be a dream to have him in the lineup again, but we’ll see if he can really make that deadline or if the Saints game on Thanksgiving is a more realistic target for Debo’s grand return from injured reserve.

Icing on the Cake

Before you send off your vote, be sure to send off this awesome win with a highlight reel of Matt Ryan and his wonderful Sunday afternoon.

Those touchdowns, and those long throws, and those third-down completions!

They’ve got my vote!

So, those are the links you can peruse while you celebrate another national day of using the freedom to vote. It’s a good freedom to have! Shine that sticker proudly, enjoy breakfast and check back in with us throughout the day for more news and analysis.
