Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones scored his first touchdown of the season Sunday afternoon. It’d been 90 receptions since his last touchdown, which is truly incomprehensible. With five minutes to play, the Falcons executed a screen to perfection, propelling Jones into the end zone.
Julio Jones FINALLY scores a touchdown.

Jones’ touchdown put the Falcons ahead 38-14 and put a big exclamation mark on a much-needed post-bye week victory. His teammates jumped all over him, giving us some sense of how the touchdown drought must’ve weighed on the superstar receiver. The Falcons move to 4-4 on the year and have won three consecutive games. In short, our hopes are officially up again!
