The image you see above is a reminder of what happens when you get too excited about these Falcons, who have lost too many games in the final moments, most especially against the Saints.

Yet the Saints are the opponent this week, and they’re rolling, and Atlanta has to go face them during a short week. A win here would be little more than a moral victory, albeit a nectar-sweet moral victory, but it’s not an impossible outcome against a New Orleans team riding a huge wave and due for a weird, random crash. The slim possibility of that is what will keep us all watching if the turkey hasn’t pinned us directly to the couch.
