Today’s game against the Cowboys has been emblematic of the Falcons season as a whole. Inconsistent offense and lots of injuries on defense. Both Duke Riley and Damontae Kazee were banged up earlier in the first quarter. Starting cornerback Desmond Trufant just suffered a second quarter thigh injury.

Trufant is questionable to return, which doesn’t means much, given that both Riley and Kazee returned to the game after their injuries. Falcons linebacker De’Vondre Campbell into Trufant as he was attempting to tackle the ball carrier. This hasn’t been Trufant’s best year, but the Falcons can’t afford to lose him either. Let’s hope he can get a little treatment and get back on the field.
Again, if you need to, go find a corner and cry in it.
Update: Desmond Trufant was back on the field for the very next defensive series. In short, “questionable” means rub some dirt on it and get your butt back on the field, if you play for the Falcons.
