Falcons fans are having one rough season, but the Packers are simply on another level. Despite finally going aggressive in free agency, the team is in full struggle mode with ultraconservative head coach Mike McCarthy flushing away potential wins.
Actually this feels a lot like 2014.
The Falcons obviously need to take care of business against the Dallas Cowboys, but they have a realistic path to the playoffs. They play the Saints on Thursday night, of course, but they finish out the season with the Ravens, Packers, Cardinals, Panthers, and Buccaneers.
Packers injuries suddenly become very interest to Falcons fans.
The #Packers lost two starters in their brutal loss to the #Seahawks on Thursday. Along with TE Jimmy Graham (broken thumb), source said DE Mike Daniels is out a few weeks with a foot injury. He saw Dr. Robert Anderson and will get a timeline when he returns from the weekend off.

Neither is quite the impact player they used to be, but add it to the other problems in Green Bay, this could easily push the game to the Falcons and push a potential wildcard team out of the playoffs.
With a win against the Cowboys, Ravens and Packers, Atlanta can sneak into the back end of the playoffs.
