A winning recipe, the trenches

Lines come first.

I would go FA on guards and pick up two,

Rodger Saffold #76 OG (30)

Quinton Spain #67 OG (27)

Chance Warmack #67 OG (27)

If the age is really a concern we could pass on Safford, however I must say we would only need him for a few seasons imo, so its not a big deal, plus given his age, he might come as a great guard cheaper.

There is actually a good draft of Centers and Offensive Tackles in this draft and look to go here first to replace eventually Mack C and Ryan at OT, who might replacing even more quickly, but with more solid pieces on the O-Line, he may be just fine.

Center/Guards

Elgton Jenkins, C, Mississippi State
Height: 6-4. Weight: 310.

Jenkins has been a steady blocker in the middle of the Mississippi State offensive line this season. Overall, he had an impressive game against Auburn as Bulldogs quarterback Nick Fitzgerald had a lot of success running behind Jenkins.

So that is interesting, offering great support for a dual threat QB.

Michael Jordan*, C/G, Ohio State
Height: 6-7. Weight: 312.

OTs

Greg Little*, OT, Ole Miss

Height:6-6. Weight: 325.

potential break-out for high pick

Kaleb McGary, OT, Washington
Height: 6-8. Weight: 324.

In 2017, McGary was one of the top right tackles in the nation, opening a lot of holes in the ground game while also providing steady pass protection for Jake Browning.

Defense Line

Not sure I'd FA here, defense starters take less time to develop than offense and well we seem to do well coaching them up, still if going FA i'd pick former 'Hawks D-Linemen

Sheldon Richardson #93 DT (27)

Shamar Stephen #98 DT (27)

Of course then there is the draft,

Derrick Brown*, NT, Auburn
Height: 6-5. Weight: 325

Dontavius Russell, NT, Auburn
Height: 6-3. Weight: 320.

Yeah surprise surprise, hey it worked well for the skins, if we got Derrick I would be tempted to go after Dontavius for the "Auburn Wall" hmm.

What about Senat and Garrett? Rotational pieces first of all, also Grady and Jack could rotate the ends as well and that accomplishes two things, actually three,

one your D-Line is now scary as hell and Heavy with Speed

Two thats some very nice depth at D-line, could you imagine Derrick lined up in the middle between Senat and Garrett, or Russell and Brown side by side with garret or senat beside on of them or vice versa, that is scary in my book,.

Three you don't need a high draft pick at Defensive End with these rotations, Jack can play DE pretty well and Grady has good speed for it as well to match his size. Teams definitely don't want to deal with him coming at you from the side, i'm sure of it.
