Falcons vs. Steelers: Vote for the offensive player of the game

What happened, exactly?

So, the Atlanta Falcons went up to Pittsburgh and turned in a performance for the ages. It was a performance so bad that my grandchildren will feel the repercussions of this loss. The Falcons offense put up just 17 points against a really bad Steelers defense, which was incredibly disappointing.

Yet, here we are. Fulfilling the need to get your input on the offense on a weekly basis, as we do. So, we’re going to embrace the suck and use sarcasm and hatred to cope. It’s all we have left.

Here are your candidates for offensive player of the game:

Austin Hooper

With 9 receptions for 77 yards, Hooper had one of his strongest games on a day where it didn’t matter. He showed that under the right circumstances, he’s capable of delivering when it’s needed.

Mohamed Sanu

A week after delivering a big performance, Sanu followed up with an additional 73 yards and a touchdown. He’s been overlooked somewhat since Ridley was drafted, but he’s still a quality player.

Scotchy, scotch, scotch, scotch

I mean, you may prefer tequila or vodka or battery acid. Whatever. Cheers.

Matt Schaub

I mean, why the hell not? He did some things.
