Good morning. You probably don’t need the inactives to know the Atlanta Falcons are limping into their NFC South battle against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. We knew half this list, but there are some interesting notes.

First, Brian Hill can’t even get the nod with Devonta Freeman injured. That’s surprising the Falcons will only activate two backs, and suggests he’s probably holding onto one of the last of the 53 roster spots. That’s probably not going to stay true for long.
Blidi Wreh-Wilson has apparently been leapfrogged by second-round pick Isaiah Oliver. That may be more of a long-term plan as Oliver has been predictably shaky so far this season.
More interesting is the Bucs list.
Bucs rookie CB Carlton Davis is inactive today vs. Falcons. Also inactive: DE Noah Spence, OL Cappa, OL Liedtke, RB Wilson, DT Nunez-Roches, QB Griffin.

No Carlton Davis suggests we will see a LOT of passing. Tons of passing. Noah Spence, the once promising young pass rusher can’t even get a start when healthy. He’s probably on his way off of the roster. Bad news for the Falcons is OJ Howard is healthy. He’s been great at moving the chains between the 20s. With the Bucs offense at nearly full strength, expect a ton of offense and practically zero defense all day.
