At 1-4, the Falcons are in a great position to destroy any shred of hope they have left of making the playoffs. Standing in their way, however, is the Mike Smith defense of the inconsistent Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This match up could be the difference between holding on to hope for the season and completely letting go and looking towards 2019.
Jeanna and DW are joined by fellow writer Adnan Ikic to talk about the upcoming game. Some of the topics discussed:
- Why this game could be a big bounce back for Matt Ryan and Julio Jones
- The incredibly odd scoring difference when Devonta Freeman misses games
- What the Falcons can do to stop the Bucs from scoring at will
- Other depressing thoughts we shouldn’t be having this early in the season
