How to watch Falcons-Rams in the Wild Card round

Atlanta is the #6 seed, Los Angeles is the #3 seed, and only one may advance.

The Atlanta Falcons just capped off their second straight winning season and are playoff bound, which is a major relief and something we’ll be celebrating all week. The team standing between them and playoff advancement is the Los Angeles Rams.

It seems obvious now, but the Rams were held down by Jeff Fisher in years past, and the addition of brilliant first year head coach Sean McVay elevated this offense beyond even my wildest expectations. Todd Gurley is an absolute beast, Jared Goff looks like a worthy first round pick, and the Rams defense gets the job done, even if it’s just Aaron Donald doing it. They’re a team that could go one and done due to a lack of experience and truly elite players in the back seven of the defense, but they’re also a team with the talent to run all the way to the Super Bowl.

No offense to the Rams, but I really hope Atlanta knocks them off this year. It’s a shame Atlanta couldn’t take out a team we like less first, but them’s the breaks.

Here’s what you’ll need to know to watch the game on Saturday night.
