If you could give the Atlanta Falcons front office an offseason mantra, what would it be?

The Atlanta Falcons are a year removed from a Super Bowl berth that ingnited their fan base. We all know how that story ended, but to their credit, the Falcons courageously fought and clawed their way back into the playoffs this season. (A feat no other 2016 NFC playoff team replicated.)

The Falcons front office undoubtedly has its priorities as free agency and the draft approach: get Matt Ryan’s extension done, add a defensive tackle, etc. But what is their mantra? What is their central focus and rallying cry as they carefully orchestrate the perfect offseason?

My hope: they act with a sense of urgency. Their mantra is something akin to “now or never!” The Falcons have a surplus of talent, but that won’t be true indefinitely. I’m not suggesting they mortgage their future; I am suggesting they can’t get complacent or rely too heavily on a development mindset. This team finds itself at a crossroads. Either they make use of this talented roster while they have it, or that window of opportunity could slam shut.

So what say you, Falcoholics? If you could give Thomas Dimitroff and his merry band of front office elves a mantra to live by in the weeks and months ahead, what would it be?
