Atlanta Falcons talk: How will the NFC playoffs shake out in 2018?

I’m having to start seriously thinking about the Super Bowl, since it’s a little less than a week away, which means I’m already thinking ahead to next season since I really want to pretend the Super Bowl doesn’t exist this year. I’m sure you’re in a similar boat.

That’s why I spent a little time this evening wondering who will be in the playoffs next year, when the Falcons will hopefully get another crack at a Super Bowl run. Obviously this is guesswork we’re not going to hold you to, given that we haven’t even technically ended the 2017 season just yet. It’s 11:30 at night on a Saturday, so I’m not even really expecting you to be sober.

Here, in no particular order, is my ridiculous guess at the playoff field for 2018.

• Philadelphia Eagles
• Atlanta Falcons
• Green Bay Packers
• Los Angeles Rams
• Minnesota Vikings
• New Orleans Saints
