The Falcons are once again healthy heading into Saturday’s game against the Eagles

A belated but very nice injury report.

We are, somewhat incredibly, less than 48 hours away from the next Falcons playoff game. Atlanta’s getting all kinds of hype heading into their matchup against a Wentz-less Eagles, for a variety of pretty good reasons. Here’s another one: They’re very healthy again.

Despite playing on an ice rink out in Los Angeles, the Falcons managed to avoid any further injuries, and will head into their game against the Eagles down absolutely nobody they didn’t have a week ago. Mohamed Sanu, Julio Jones, and LaRoy Reynolds were limited Thursday, but all three are expected to play and play a lot Saturday.

Ben Garland and Wes Schweitzer will once again have a difficult time against the Philadelphia defensive line, but Atlanta’s got the full gang against a team that is being forced to play a backup quarterback.

And the Eagles? They’re fairly healthy too, with rookie Sidney Jones and veteran linebacker Dannell Ellerbe the only players in question for the game. Neither would be fatal losses for the Eagles if they can’t go, not with their defensive line being the key to this game in so many ways.

We’ll hope good health translate into a victory for the Falcons.
