How to watch Falcons - Eagles: Channel and streaming options

An important note for those who can’t, for whatever reason, get the game on television.

When the Falcons meet up with the Eagles to have some laughs on the gridiron Saturday, you’re going to want to watch it. You will want to even if you’re afraid of the outcome, as are all Atlanta fans, because this is the Falcons in the postseason. They’ve been mostly very good there, of late.

Of course, you’ll want to know what channel it’s on, but what if your access to a television is going to be limited? What then? Worry not, for we have you covered.

Channel: NBC

Naturally, the first playoff game of the weekend will be a national television broadcast. When the Falcons kick off at 4:35 in the afternoon, you’ll be able to catch the game on NBC in every market except maybe New Orleans, where I assume they just show Drew Brees AdvoCare infomercials in between Saints games. If you can park yourself in front of the TV with wings and beer, well, please do so.

Streaming: Yahoo

If you can’t be near a television, you may feel your life spiraling out of control. Have no fear! It turns out that Yahoo! will be streaming all of the Divisional Round games, including Falcons-Eagles, so you don’t need to miss the game after all.

All you need to do is download the Yahoo Sports app and you’ll be able to stream the game free of charge and regardless of which mobile network and/or cable package you have. If you need to travel or spend time with loved ones who don’t approve of your football-watching habits, this is the way to go.

How will you be watching the game?
