Marvin Hall was arguably the most impressive Falcons receiver this summer, making big plays in practice and during preseason games, and showing some genuine special teams ability along the way. Unlike so many Falcons receivers of past years, he’s going to get a shot to continue his story in Atlanta with a practice squad spot.
At least, I believe that’s what this is saying. I guess it’s possible Hall just feels very blessed, at 5:53 on the day teams add to their practice squads, to have been associated with the Falcons in the past.

Hall showed enough this summer for us to think he might get a fresh shot at the returner job and the #5 receiver role a year from now, when Taylor Gabriel, Andre Roberts, and Nick Williams are all unrestricted free agents. We’ll hope he can stick around and make an impact.
Congratulations, Marvin Hall!
