The Atlanta Falcons are slowly populating their practice squad, with two defensive linemen added to the mix. Both are useful players, at minimum, so light applause is warranted.
J'Terius Jones has been added to the #Falcons practice squad, per his rep.

Jones was one of two exciting young defensive ends the Falcons brought aboard after he draft. Superior run-stopper Chris Odom signed with the Packers, but Jones is a promising young pass rusher with positional versatility. He could see the roster by 2018 if he develops well.
Vellano is 29 years old and a solid defensive tackle. He gives the team real depth in case of injury, which is important given that the team has just two full-time DTs under contract. Courtney Upshaw, Derrick Shelby, Jack Crawford and Adrian Clayborn can all play inside, however.
CoCongratulations to both of these players.
