Tonight’s game will matter in the NFC North, surely, but it also matters because it reminds us that the Falcons have already beaten three quarters of the NFC North in 2017, including these two teams. That’s a nice feeling.
The Packers have been crushed by injuries thus far in 2017, so it’s difficult to get a good feel for how effective they’ll be when they’re closer to full health. Aaron Rodgers is still a great leveler and they do have talent, but they’re not necessarily a great team at the moment. That leaves an opening for a Bears team that just knocked off the Steelers thanks to stellar defense and juuuuuuust enough offense to push them over the top. Despite initial expectations, I think this might just wind up being a good game.
Here’s what you’ll need to know, in brief, to watch it. Use this as your open thread!
