Probably the biggest fan favorite player this offseason was explosive wide receiver Reggie Davis, an undrafted playmaker from UGA. The Falcons likely tried slipping him to their practice squad at roster cuts in order to keep the more polished Nick Williams on the roster. The Cleveland Browns got in the way by adding him to their active roster.
Rosters are always changing, and Davis was cut a few days ago. Prompting... his much awaited return.
TRANSACTION: We have signed WR Reggie Davis to the practice squad.

Davis will work on getting up to NFL speed, and improving his pro route tree. He could become valuable depth if Atlanta deals with any serious injuries at wide receiver this year, and would become an instant special teams plus.
It’s a nice addition to the team’s practice squad. If only the Falcons could get a second chance at keeping Chris Odom. The practice squad currently looks like this:
- Marcelis Branch, FS
- Daniel Brunskill, T
- Deante Burton, DB
- Reggie Davis, WR
- Jamil Douglas, OG
- Alex Gray, English TE
- Marvin Hall, WR
- J’Terius Jones, DE
- Trevor Knight, QB
- Joshua Perkins, TE
- Taniela Tupou, DL
