For those who want politics kept out of sports, you may want to divert your eyes elsewhere during the national anthem today when the Lions take on the Falcons in Detroit. Per reports, Falcons owner Arthur Blank will join the players and coaches on the sidelines during the national anthem.

For those who are unaware, this is undoubtedly in response to some very strong comments from President Donald Trump yesterday, in which he suggested that NFL owners should fire players that kneel during the anthem. The response from players, coaches, GMs and owners has been more pronounced than in the past.
It should be noted that earlier today, Jaguars owner Shahid Khan joined his team on the sidelines in London with locked arms, as several Jaguars players kneeled during the national anthem. It appears that quite a few NFL teams will see increased activity during the anthem in response to the Presidents comments.
What are your thoughts on Arthur Blank joining his team on the sidelines?
