We still don’t know all the details of Ra’Shede Hageman’s domestic violence arrest and the subsequent legal outcome, but we do know this: Hageman is no longer an Atlanta Falcon, and the NFL just suspended him for six games.
With the limited information we have available to us, it’s fair to say we don’t know precisely why the Falcons cut ties with Hageman, though they hinted the legal outcome of his case at least helped make the decision. Whatever that result was—a guilty plea, or the wrapup of a very long NFL investigation—the league has hit the free agent defensive tackle with a lengthy suspension.

Suspension stems from three misdemeanor charges from an incident with the mother of his child. It's my understanding he pled guilty.

It’s an open question whether Hageman, a talented but frustrating defensive tackle, is going to get another look in the NFL after this. One thing is for certain: It won’t be with the Atlanta Falcons.
