Nothing like the bounce back. Desmond Trufant got beat up by Mike Evans so badly last November, he tore his pectoral and went to injured reserve. He came back against the Chicago Bears, and his performance had plenty of us wondering if he was still recuperating from the injury.
As it turns out, we did not need to worry. Trufant had a masterful game against the Green Bay Packers, even scoring on a fumble. His play earned him NFC Defense Player of the Week.
TRUUUUUUUUUUUU!

Trufant was never known for his ability to snag interceptions, but he looked like the intended wide receiver on this play.

Aaron Rodgers is usually pretty safe with the football, but Trufant had his number all night. A well deserved honor for Trufant, who looks to have returned to his Pro Bowl form.
