I think we were all hoping the Falcons would come out and destroy this Bears team, and I’ll confess I fully expected it to happen. There’s still plenty of time for that, but Chicago has fought hard and fought well thus far, and we’ll head into the second half with the game tied at 10-10.
I’m hopeful to see the Falcons offense achieve more consistent results—they had a big touchdown drive, a solid field goal drive, and some missed opportunities—and much better run defense. Chicago was able to gouge the Falcons on their last drive of the half, with a Jordan Howard touchdown the result. Get some more consistency and we’re probably right back in business.
