Injuries are going to happen in the NFL, but someone has to slow them down at Flowery Branch. No word yet on the specific injuries, but we have some bad news coming from training camp.
Starting with one of Atlanta’s top offensive linemen.
Ryan Schraeder just walked off the field with a member of the Falcons medical staff

Next is Atlanta’s second biggest offseason acquisition, DE/DT Jack Crawford, who had reportedly been flashing in the last few days.
Jack Crawford just walked off the field with a trainer. Could be nothing. He was walking under his own power & didn't seem to be limping.

Next is impressive rookie Damontae Kazee.
Damontae Kazee was down for a second getting attention on his ankle but he got back up and is practicing

Kazee has left ankle heavily taped now.

I’m not too worried about Kazee, as he was not expected to start this season. He’s been a little banged up in camp so far. The biggest concern is if Atlanta loses their starting tackle for any period of time. The swing tackle position is far from decided, and the Falcons would otherwise have to resort to some veteran off the streets.
