We try to stay on top of Atlanta’s undrafted players, as Dan Quinn has shown an innate ability to get one or two of these guys to blow up during the season. Jermaine Grace has not gotten much attention yet, but maybe that is about to change.
Word out of #Falcons camp is that former #Canes LB Jermaine Grace looks very good and is getting some run with the first unit

The Falcons could use better depth at linebacker, as last year’s backups left a lot to be desired. It’s pretty unlikely he cracks into the starting lineup during the season with Deion Jones, Duke Riley in the way, but he could provide them some rest.
What should you know about Grace? He was suspended at Miami for receiving discounted luxury car rentals (great job, NCAA) after his junior year, where he was the team’s top linebacker. Similar to Jones, Grace is undersized (between 209 and 223 pounds, depending on the source) but reportedly has impressive foot speed. He will definitely need some work, but has a bit more upside than LaRoy Reynolds.
