For a healthy, strong team, the practice squad matters only because it’s a place where you can develop interesting players who might be a part of your future plans. If you’re not blessed by great injury luck, though, practice squadders can wind up becoming vital players down the line. Either way, you want to populate your 10-or-11 man squad with intriguing players.
So here’s today’s camp question. Who makes it? Here’s my guess:
- CB Deji Olatoye
- CB/S Akeem King
- DE J’Terius Jones
- DT Taniela Toupu
- LB Jermaine Grace
- OL DJ Tialavea
- OL Daniel Brunskill
- QB Alek Torgersen
- WR Marvin Hall
- WR Reginald Davis III
- TE Alex Gray
We’ll talk about the practice squad plenty toward the tail end of the summer, but for now, I’m interested to hear your best guesses. Then feel free to use this as your Sunday evening open thread, as one does.
