Jason Taylor is a Hall of Famer, having piled up one of the highest sack totals in NFL history during a long, distinguished career.
You may not realize this, but Dan Quinn was Jason Taylor’s position coach way back in 2005 and 2006, so he had the opportunity to spend some time with the future Canton inductee. He must have made an impression, because Taylor took the time to shoutout both Quinn and Keith Armstrong, who were attending the ceremony Sunday night.

Dan Quinn shoutout from Jason Taylor! "I know you should be in Atlanta getting ready for another Super Bowl run"

Specifically, Taylor credited Dan Quinn with coming up with “innovative” ways of helping him improve his game, something we’re all seeing Quinn bring to his current defense first-hand. It’s little more than a neat note at the moment, but I really hope some of these current Falcons are making references to Quinn in their own Hall of Fame speeches down the line.
