PFF: Defying all logic, Julio Jones gets better every year

There is no question that Julio is the best wide receiver in the league.

There is no question that Julio Jones is and has been Atlanta’s best player for some time. That is saying a lot when you have MVP Matt Ryan on the roster. Fans have really become accustomed to his jaw-dropping performances, and his statistics are simply insane.

Even Pro Football Focus can’t believe it.

Jones simply isn’t dependent on matchups, schemes, or anything. He reminds me of Calvin Johnson, in that you can just get the ball somewhere around him and you know he will do better than any corner, safety, and linebacker combination in charge of covering him.

The numbers really speak for themselves. No one else is in Julio’s league.
