We were not too worried about Devonta Freeman when he suffered a concussion, but Dan Quinn announced he came out of the league’s concussion protocol as expected.
Dan Quinn said RB Devonta Freeman has been fully cleared from his concussion to return to practice.

Freeman played way back in week one of the preseason. During practice a few days later, Quinn thought he was having some heat-related issues that was later diagnosed as a concussion. At the time, we assumed Freeman was done for preseason but would be ready for week one.
It sounds like that is the plan. Freeman will be a full participant in practice, but the Falcons will keep him away from too much action until they play the Chicago Bears.
