We had high hopes for Damontae Kazee this season. He was considered the best value pick made by the Atlanta Falcons, and has certainly showed enough talent that he looks to be a bargain. He’s been held back recently by a nagging ankle injury, and we might miss out on seeing him the rest oft he preseason.

Kazee will need to bounce back, and bounce back quickly, to even get a shot at playing in Thursday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Ricardo Allen has already secured the starting free safety spot, but apparently that will be Kazee’s only position.
#Falcons coach Dan Quinn plans to keep Damontae Kazee at free safety.

We might not see much of Kazee this year. He might give Allen a few breathers, and sub in on some obvious passing downs, but this ankle injury is keeping him from making an impact this year.
