This is a weird week, even by preseason standards, because the Falcons are playing arguably their most critical preseason game on a Saturday night. It’s still football, and we might see more of the starters, so we’ll gladly accept the quirky schedule.
The opponent this week is the Arizona Cardinals, a talented team that has seen uneven results in recent years. Carson Palmer is aging rapidly, there’s no heir apparent behind him, and the offensive talent is all over the place, with David Johnson looking phenomenal and the receiving corps looking merely decent. The defense is fast and physical, but has some holes, so this will be an interesting challenge for Atlanta, if not the strongest one.
Here’s the time, location, and TV and radio channels where you’ll be able to follow along with the game.
