Falcons preseason talk: Who impressed you most against the Steelers?

The standout of the day was [FILL IN THE BLANK]

NFL: Atlanta Falcons at Pittsburgh Steelers Philip G. Pavely-USA TODAY Sports

The second preseason Falcons game is in the books, which means it’s a prime time to reflect on what happened. The lessons we learned from the game, which I’ll sketch out tomorrow, aren’t particularly deep or meaningful, given that we’re not in the regular season.

Still, there are standout performers and shaky performers to assess, and we’ll do a little of that tonight.

My answer is Reggie Davis. It’s impossible not to initially roll your eyes at the thought of a University of Georgia wide receiver capturing the attention of the fanbase unless you’re a UGA homer, because the story line and its ultimate disappointment seems to write itself. But Davis has been genuinely good this whole time, and he looked downright great shaking off his man en route to a 44 yard reception in this one. In an ever-shifting wide receiver battle, I’m willing to believe he now has the upper hand. Who knows where it’ll take him?

Give us your choice, and then use this as your open thread for the evening.
