Nominate your choices for the 2000s All-Decade Falcons offense

Who tops your list?

We’ve got our All-Decade team for the 2010s, though the 2010s aren’t over. The 2000s are well in the rear view mirror, however, and now it’s time to mull over what the best possible starting lineup from that era of Falcons football might look like.

We’ll begin with the offense, which was home to some true franchise legends and some merely very good players during a decade (2001-2010) that saw the Falcons make the playoffs four times and finally see back-to-back winning seasons in Atlanta.

This one will be a little contentious, I expect. There’s legitimate conversations to be had about running back, quarterback, and a couple of spots along the offensive line, and you may disagree strongly with my choices. Give us your nominees if they differ from my list below, and we’ll get to voting on these later in the week.

Quarterback: Michael Vick

Running Back: Warrick Dunn

Fullback: Ovie Mughelli

Wide Receivers: Roddy White & Brian Finneran

Tight End: Alge Crumpler

Left Tackle: Bob Whitfield

Left Guard: Justin Blalock

Center: Todd McClure

Right Guard: Kynan Forney

Right Tackle: Todd Weiner
