Bovada: Atlanta Falcons stars Matt Ryan and Julio Jones are likely to win NFL MVP in 2017

tThe Atlanta Falcons have an undoubtedly bright future. That doesn’t dull the residual sting from February. It’s been a difficult offseason and I’m frankly sick of hearing about the Super Bowl. But that’s all to be expected, right? Recovery is a process, right? (Dave tells me recovery is for quitters and that I should just keep on keeping on.)

Heading into the 2017 NFL season, the Falcons have a talented, deep roster. So talented that oddsmakers are giving Falcons stars Matt Ryan and Julio Jones good odds to be named MVP in 2017. Huzzah!

How good are their odds? Ryan is 16/1. Julio is 50/1. Strangely Bovada thinks Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Derek Carr, Ben Roethlisberger, Dak Prescott, and Russell Wilson are more likely to win MVP than Ryan.

So in short, it’s very possible the Falcons have another MVP in 2017. I like the sound of that, though I’d rather win a Super Bowl, of course.
