Falcons trivia: Who set the saddest mark for a team-leading rushing total?

Imagine leading the team with less than 400 yards rushing.

While digging for new questions to ask, I came across something that I found simultaneously pretty sad and pretty hilarious, and decided to share it with you.

The question is pretty simple: Who led the Falcons in rushing for a single season with the fewest yards in franchise history? If you’re guessing that was north of 500 yards, you’d be wrong. If you’re guessing it was north of 400 yards, you’d thankfully be right, but that’s still a depressingly low number. It came after a very successful year running the football for this Atlanta team, if that’s at all helpful as you assemble your guesses.

One more clue: This player only led the Falcons in rushing once, something that has only happened four other times in franchise history.

So who holds this ignoble mark, and how many yards did they rush for?
