Today the Atlanta Falcons announced they signed fourth and fifth-round picks Sean Harlow and Damontae Kazee. If you were worried these guys might go Joey Bosa, you don’t have anything to worry about.

Signing rookies was a little more important before the rookie wage scale, which sets up how much each player will get paid. The only thing that can really be negotiated is guaranteed money and/or offset language. That is also pretty silly because rookie deals are pretty small. Still, it is one less thing for the fans to worry about it.
Harlow is a converted tackle that is expected to be in the middle of the battle of Chris Chester’s old spot. He will need to make the transition quickly to slow up Wes Schweitzer, who looked pretty good last offseason. Kazee is a nickel/safety type that can fill in for depth, but is expected to at least push Ricardo Allen for the starting job. He’s had a ton of buzz as a valuable fifth-round pick.
