We’ve known the Falcons’ 2017 opponents for quite some time, but figuring out how good they’ll be in 2017 is a very different animal. We’re still going to ask you to do that today, in a fashion.
What I’m looking for is your strong opinion on the single toughest and single easiest matchups on this 2017 Falcons schedule. If you care to explain your reasoning at 3 p.m. on Easter Sunday, that’d be awesome.
The toughest opponent, I’ll wager, will still be the New England Patriots. They’re the (ugh) (gross) (damnit) reigning Super Bowl champions, their roster might be better than it was a year ago, and the Falcons will have to play them on the road. That’s a recipe for a tough game, even though I want the Falcons to win it so badly I can taste it.
The easiest game figures to be the Jets. This is a team that is hilariously bad, got worse on purpose, and figures to start a nobody at quarterback. The Falcons can beat a team like that in their sleep if they’re even half as good as they were a year ago, and they’ll be better than half as good.
Give us your picks.
