Julio Jones is a man of rare talent and many foot problems, and thankfully, his latest foot surgery was a successful one.

The beauty of offseason operations is simple: Have this same surgery during the season and you’ll miss the entire thing. Have it in March and you should be ready to go for preseason, if not training camp. Julio needs his feet to be reasonably healthy to put up the kind of numbers we expect from him, but it’s pretty obvious he has been dealing with issues for a long while now, and he still had his utterly dominant moments throughout the back half of the season.
Julio’s always going to have his injuries, I think, but the good news is that this one shouldn’t slow him down in any way. Coming off back-to-back historically great campaigns, Jones should be good to tack another eye-popping season on in 2017. He’s arguably the best receiver in the NFL, bunion surgery be damned.
