Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Taylor Gabriel earned every dollar of his second round tender last season. His unprecedented trajectory from the Cleveland Browns scrap heap to a prominent role in the league’s best offense was truly remarkable. What’s more, he absolutely loves playing for the Atlanta Falcons. (So much so that he’s on record wanting to play for the Falcons for the rest of his career.)
It’s easy to overlook just how good Gabriel played last season. He had an uncanny knack for making Matt Ryan look good. Really good. I saw this a couple days ago and figured it was worth sharing:
Taylor Gabriel's 141.7 WR Rating was tops in the NFL last season.

Matt Ryan's stats when targeting Gabriel: 44/60, 750 yds, 6TDs, 1INT pic.twitter.com/YAKWnJP8ge
Those numbers are jaw dropping. Ryan owes Gabriel a steak dinner. Your thoughts?
