Atlanta Falcons strong safety Keanu Neal is a fantastic football player. Neal was considered a “reach” by a bunch of people that didn’t know what they were talking about. But with his hard-hitting, passionate brand of football, Neal has won over the Falcohol chugging masses.
Neal wasn’t perfect in 2016. (He’s going to need some time to get up to speed defending the pass.) But most rookies, even the best of the best, aren’t perfect. That said, one thing is certain: Neal can go out there and get you a stop when you need one.

Neal will be a fixture in the Falcons defense for the foreseeable future. The Falcons need only decide whether Ricardo Allen is the best long-term option to pair with Neal.
