The league’s best wide receiver is undergoing surgery. That is alarming, but NFL reporter Ian Rapoport suggests it is nothing to worry about.
#Falcons WR Julio Jones is having foot surgery on Monday, source said. It's minor and won't affect his training camp availability.

Julio Jones dealt with turf toe through most of last season. You wouldn’t have known it if you just watched him on the field, but he missed some playing time. Based on the timing, it sounds like they gave it a few weeks to see if he would need surgery.
Luckily, it is reported as “minor,” and assuming no setbacks, there should not be concern for training camp. Injury news under Dan Quinn has usually proven to be on the optimistic side, so we will watch for any updates on his rehab.
Update: D. Orlando Ledbetter, hopefully correctly reading a text, denies Rapsheet’s report. Hopefully we get some clarification soon.
#Falcons WR Julio Jones DOES NOT have a surgery scheduled for Monday. He does have a visit/exam scheduled, according to the team.
