As a fan, you want your team to be so good that players will play for your team for less money. You see it with the New England Patriots and the Green Bay Packers because players who will take less to go to a team they want to play for. Or even just a team that wins.
The Atlanta Falcons may be slowly becoming that good. Prized free agent defensive tackle Dontari Poe turned down a multi-year deal from the Indianapolis Colts before signing a one-year deal with the Atlanta Falcons. He reportedly turned down more money from the Jacksonville Jaguars, too.
Note: DT Dontari Poe had a 1yr, $9M deal fully guar'd + incentives from the #Jags, but favored the #Falcons all along based on convos w/ DQ.

Quinn seems like the perfect coach for attracting free agents. He's excited and really loves what he's doing. It comes through at his press conferences, and it sounds like it comes through when talking to players. Poe didn't take a huge discount to play in Atlanta, but a million dollars is a million dollars.
